Dr. Kavitha Prasad is a general dentist with a special interest in oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and Invisalign®. Dr. Kavitha believes in providing results-oriented treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving their oral and general health.
After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degree in oral surgery in India, Dr. Kavitha practiced for several years before moving to Calgary. Her passion for dentistry led her to New York City where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Kavitha believes strongly in keeping up with the latest advancements in dentistry, and as such, Dr. Kavitha participates in numerous continuing education and special training courses. She is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association, the AGD and the IAO.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kavitha enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, yoga, and watching favorite TV shows – Greys Anatomy, Flash and the new Designated Survivor.
Dr. Kavitha’s goal is to treat patients with great care and to serve the community to the best of her abilities; she loves practicing dentistry and meeting new people every day.
Dr. Robert Jost earned both his dental degree and bachelor’s degree from University of Alberta. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Alberta Dental Association, Alberta Implant Seminar study club, Alberta Dental Implant Academy, and Calgary Prosthodontic Study Club. Dr. Jost has taken numerous postgraduate education courses, specifically selecting courses focusing on esthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry.
He has trained at the Pankey Institute, and recently lectured on photography in dentistry. Continuing education is very important to him so that he can provide the best dental care available in the most comfortable way possible. He was also featured in Dentaltown Magazine. Dr. Jost and his wife, Dr. Prichard, have two beautiful children. He volunteers at their school and supports local charities. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, photography, and skiing.
Dr. Jodi Prichard earned her dental degree from the University of Alberta, after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Calgary. Her most recent continuing education course was in children’s dentistry, which is a passion for her. Her commitment to lifelong learning, coupled with her caring personality allow her to offer a positive growth experience, promoting healthy smiles and building confidence in her young patients. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and reading.
Both doctors volunteer at their children’s schools, St. Philip School and Tot Spot, and with the Calgary Urban Project Society (CUPS), providing free dental care. Each year during the month of December they choose a charity to support which receives a percentage of fees for that month, as well as giving individually to many others. They also volunteered together in a Tibetan refugee camp in India.
